Vegetarian instant noodle

 


This vegetarian instant noodle I bought from red mart is good, a bit spicy and sour, tom yam style.  Weird that its sold in individual packets though.

There's this vegetarian chicken rice at 409A Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-33, Singapore 561409, they served pretty good veg chicken rice and be prepared to queue.

Soy milk maker

 


Am using this soy milk maker I bought from ezy buy, brand is Makkam or something, not too bad, pretty loud during grinding but I think they are all like that ... only thing I don't like is that the plug is attached with the flask, have to be careful when washing.

Vegetarian curry



 


Trying out another brand of veggie curry cubes, no fuss and easy to cook as usual. 
This brand seems a little tad too sour for me though. 

As usual, just throw all veggies into a pot 600ml water, boil till soft and add curry cubes.

Vegetarian Gochujang Stew


Something simple and easy to whip up for dinner. 

Ingredients: 
A tablespoon of gochujang paste 
Cabbage 
Assorted mushroom 
Tofu 
400ml water 

 Steps: 
Boil water, add the rest of the ingredients in, cook for 10 min, done!

Vegetable curry

 



Made vegetarian curry last night, just cut and  throw all the vegetables in a pot, cabbage, tomato, brinjal, potato, long beans, tau pok, add 400 ml of water, add coconut cream, boil for 20 min.

Overnight Oat

 


A healthy breakfast to start the day~~


Ingredient: 
Some oat 
Milk 
Chia Seeds 
Nuts 

Pour oat, milk and chia seeds together and put in the fridge overnight
Add nuts and serve.

Braised tofu and mushroom

 



Cooked this for dinner yesterday. 

Ingredients:  
1 block of Firm tofu (tou kwa) 
4 shitake mushroom 

Seasoning: 
Water 
1 tbs dark soy sauce 
1 tbs light soy sauce 
1 tbs sweet sauce 

Thickener: 
Water + corn flour 

Steps: 
Put firm tofu in air fryer for 10 min (180 degree) 

Pour seasoning ad shitake mushroom in a pot, bring to boil, simmer for 15 min 

Add in firm tofu, thickener.

Longan Tea

Drank this during maternity confinement every day. 
Heard its good for complexion and blood circulation and stuff.. 

So I still try to drink this once a week. 

I use my Tiger thermal flask, throw in dried longan, some red dates and wolfberries, pour in hot water, ready to drink the next morning.  Its still warm. lol

Portable Steamboat

Bought this to try during CNY, anyway I only ended up eating this last night. 



Didn't have a good experience with previous portable steamboat, I feel that the food is not cooked thoroughly. 
I ended up pouring the contents in a pot and cook again, just to be safe.
